Volunteering in SPCA

I had spent 4 days in Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) which located at Ampang serving as volunteer. The job scopes that I did there are cleaning the cages, feeding the dogs and cats and giving affection and care to the poor abandoned dogs and cats. Looking at those adorable cats and dogs, I personally don’t understand how their owner willingly abandoned them. However, there are still some of it are lost animals. There is one cute 1 year old, snowy white colour dog named Sugar has come to my attention. I still remember on the first day I visited SPCA, it looked so terrified and unsecured hiding at the end of the cage. Sugar was so scared and even avoid from eating when we passed by. However things changes after a few days. In the last day I worked as volunteer in SPCA, Sugar was completely different from the first day. It became friendly and even welcomes the visitor to play with it. I was so relieve to see that and I wish Sugar able to find a loving owner soon. Overall, I had a great experience working as a volunteer in SPCA.

My third product~~~

Materials used: Box, cloth, ribbon, sponge, polystyrene, telephone card, UHU gum, hot glue

A hard cardboard box should be choose in order to produce
 a nice, durable and long lasting  jewelry box. 

Telephone card can be the partition of the box
 to be the compartment to store jewelry

The third jewelry box is my fav product. With the experiences of doing the previous two product, the third one is the best among three of my jewelry boxes. So, here u go, the photo of my third product.

Materials used: Gift box, fabric, sponge, polystyrene, ribbon, hot glue gun, UHU gum, transparent plastic cover sheet

 I used the transparent plastic cover sheet from my old project work.

Finally I've decided the topic for my sem3 elective project: Jewelry Box. I'd been thinking of greeting cards, candle holder... but at last when i look through my old stuff, I realize that I actually have done some jewelry boxes out of wood and also reused gift box. So why don't I just modified what I've know and for this time maybe I should add more decoration as I need to sell  my product, a little bit more decoration might attract the buyers attention. So now I'm still brainstorming what design I wanted and below are what I'd done last time. 

  This is what I did for my form 3 (15years old) project, I've combined a display box and a jewelry box, it is kind a like multipurpose box. And it is make out of wood n some cardboard.

These two jewelry boxes are made up of gift box. It just a simple type. I might modify the design to something more fancy for my recycled craft project.

Intro~~~

Hi everyone. This is the first time I'm writing a blog well normally i write on my diary book (i know is outdated for using that). Why I created this blog? Erm.. the main reason is due to my Sem 3 project n u might curious on my blog tittle, what do i means by a new start? I believe that everyone have their own past n somehow there are something that we try so hard to forget but it just stay in your mind n haunt u whenever u r too 'free'. By saying that A NEW START means I'm facing this world with a different perspective n attitude n here on this blog i would like to share my feeling to whoever reading this.
